Comparison
ShipVeryFast vs ShipFast
Both ship auth, payments and email wired up. The differences are the database, the AI layer and whether the repo is built for coding agents.
Everything below about ShipFast comes from its own public pages, read on 29 July 2026. Both products change, so check theirs before you decide.
What both give you
The premise is the same: stop rebuilding the same plumbing on every project. Both ship a Next.js codebase with authentication, Stripe payments, a database and transactional email already connected, and both are a one-time purchase you own rather than a subscription. If all you need is that, either will save you the first couple of weeks.

A dash means the product's own feature list does not mention it, not that it is impossible to add yourself.
Where ShipVeryFast is different
A real AI engine, not a prompt file. Claude and GPT sit behind one provider-agnostic interface, with streaming and a working assistant page in the dashboard. Swap model or vendor without touching your product code. If what you are building is an AI SaaS, this is the part you would otherwise write yourself in week one.
Built to be driven by coding agents. The repo ships CLAUDE.md, AGENTS.md, .cursorrules, Claude Code skills, an MCP config and a scaffolding CLI, so Claude Code, Cursor or Codex generate features that match the existing patterns instead of guessing. See what that includes.
Postgres with Row Level Security. Tenant isolation is enforced by the database, not by remembering to filter every query. ShipFast offers MongoDB or Supabase; if you want relational data and RLS from the first commit, that is the default here.
Tests and security you did not write. Jest and Playwright suites run green in CI, and rate limiting, CSRF protection, security headers and audit logging are wired in rather than left as a TODO.
You can try it before paying. The dashboard runs as a public read-only demo, no signup. Most boilerplates ask you to buy on the strength of screenshots.
When to buy ShipFast instead
It has a much larger community and a long track record: thousands of people have shipped with it, there is an active Discord, and plenty of public write-ups when you get stuck. That is worth real money if you like learning in a crowd.
It also ships an SEO and blog module out of the box, and bundles with its author's course. If content marketing is your growth plan, or you want MongoDB specifically, ShipFast fits that better than we do.
Buy ShipVeryFast if you want a relational database with RLS, an AI layer that is already wired, a repo your coding agent can drive, and tests you did not have to write.
